Clinical exercise physiologists are the most qualified health professionals for the prescription and delivery of clinical exercise. Running alongside that, we also work with personal training and performance clients. The team at Vitruvian all have experience of high level performance, both from a personal and professional perspective. Our university studies have a strong focus on anatomy, physiology, biomechanics and the adaptation processes involved in exercise and training. Therefore, we apply evidence-based scientific principles to ensure your training is appropriate to your goals. We will also offer nutritional guidance and assist with behavioural change as required.

The ability of muscles to produce force. The preservation of muscle mass over the lifespan reduces risk of frailty and many chronic health diseases such as diabetes. Increasing strength is also our best method of reducing injury risk.
Loading the bones through resistance training and impact activities prompts our skeleton to lay down more bone, making us more resistant to osteoporosis and fractures
