Running and OA

The idea that running is ‘bad for your knees’ is still a fairly widely held belief.


Research demonstrates that not only is running safe, it can actually have a protective benefit for our knees and joint cartilage. Recreational runners had less prevalence of knee OA than sedentary individuals.


Benefit comes from not exceeding your limits and paying attention to your body.
