
Remote / online assessments
An effective and informative assessment is very much achievable online. So much valuable information is gathered through a thorough history taking and this will help guide the assessments performed, and this in turn drives the plan. Imaging and Pain
This study looked at a 30 year follow up of 20 year old military recruits with low back pain. Scans were performed then and again 30 years later on the same individuals. It was found that intervertebral discs demonstrating change at age 20 (YES, changes can begin this young) showed higher levels of change at 30 year follow up BUT this did not have a significant association with their current pain or disability.
